The Rector has charge of all spiritual matters of the Parish, while the Wardens and Vestry have responsibility for all temporal matters of the Congregation. However, in reality, both Rector, Wardens and Vestrymen share many of the responsibilities in the leadership of the Parish as they try to follow Christ's will in our corporate life of the Parish.

Fr Chris Tang is the rector of Saint George's Episcopal Church, and serves as priest, pastor and teacher. His ministry is to represent Christ and his Church; to share with the bishop in the overseeing of the Church; to proclaim the Gospel; to administer the sacraments; and the bless and declare pardon in the name of God.

The Rector's Warden advises and assists the Rector, and provides lay oversight of church functions related to worship, pastoral care, Christian formation, and fellowship

"People's Warden"
The People's Warden serves as a liaison between the people of the parish and the Rector, and provides lay oversight of church functions related to outreach, the Preschool, and management of buildings and grounds.

The Vestry of Saint George's provides the leadership for the life and mission of the church in partnership with the Rector. The Vestry holds periodic meetings at the Parish house which may be observed by any member of the congregation.
